EXPERIENCE AND TAKEWAYS
We wanted to make a short narrative experience through our game, dialing down the scope from multiple levels to showcasing one polished level, and opting for a point-and-click gameplay to support puzzle elements.
My role in the jam was as a game designer and programmer, prototyping the game mechanics in Unity, alongside one of the animators who also had programming experience.

Our intent with Heart to Heart was to make a fun and short vertical slice of what could be a larger narrative experience with multiple levels and puzzles to go through.
However, due to the limitations at the time, we scoped down and decided to focus on polish and quality rather than quantity to show off our concept.
